I decided to get my hair cut short a while back. Since it was so long to begin with, I waited a few more months until it reached 10 inches of "extra" hair. This way, I would be able to donate it to Locks of Love.
And today, it happened! Snip, snip!!! Two good things come out of this! One, I got a more "adult" haircut, and two, someone else will get my hair!
I wasn't apprehensive at all, even when watching the scissors cut through the pony tail. It was kind of cool to play with it after, although if I do this again, I will refrain from touching it, ehehehe. My hair is "glide-y" by nature, so even when tied with the rubber band, it started to slip away from it! Some of it fell off, so I had to re-do the tail.
